1. How much does it cost?
All nominations are FREE to enter. Anyone shortlisted for the finals will be required to pay £285 + VAT. It is the nominators responsibility to ensure that their nominee can attend the judging day. If for whatever reason a finalist decides to drop out of the competition, resigns from the company etc the company would still be liable to pay the finalist fee.

2. Why is there Finalist fee?
The Women In Construction & Engineering Awards have a rigorous and robust judging process. The finalist fee contributes to the costs associated with the administration and processing of all the entries received as well as the international judges expenses. It also demonstrates the companies commitment to their nominees who have become finalists.

4. Can I nominate myself?
No. Your company has to nominate you this is because we want companies to recognize their women working in construction and engineering and show their support. You can however recommend to your company that you be nominated; although the submission has to be made by someone other than yourself.

6. Can my organisation enter more than once in one category?
Yes. Because the event has a European focus companies may have women in other European countries who they may wish to nominate within the same category. However you cannot enter one person in more than one category.

7. Can my organisation enter more than one category?
Yes. Companies can submit multiple applications for different categories. Please note that the finalist fee will be per nomination. You cannot enter one person in more than one category.

8. How do I make the most of my entry?
We recommend you contact our Boost Marketing who are specialist awards consultants. www.boost-marketing.co.uk

9. How will I know if I am a finalist?
You will be contacted by our nominations team. Finalists will also be listed on the Awards website http://www.wiceawards.com, and on related social media pages. Finalists will be invited to the Judging Day taking place in London. Please note that if you are unable to attend the judging day your entry will be disqualified, however you will still be liable to pay the finalist fee.

10. If I am shortlisted;  what happens next?
Should you make it to the Finalist stage, we will contact you if we need more information regarding your entry however as most of the required information is collected during the nomination process we will only contact you to notify you of your success to the next stage.

13. What if I don’t win?
Just being nominated for an award has merit and a ROI all its own. Competition at its core is about experiencing and developing your skills, Competition drives us to work harder and smarter. Without it, you’re a monopoly. Network at the awards ceremony and develop new relationships with others so you can leverage their knowledge, market and expertise. Failing means you were in it to win it. You tried. Not failing usually means you didn't even try. So, when your competitor gets up to take the trophy, smile, clap and quietly resolve to beat her next year.

14. What can we get out of it?
The PR and marketing advantages available for finalists and winners are truly next to none. You will also receive recognition amongst the business community; attending the ceremony itself provides you with the unique opportunity to network with your peers and competition from all over Europe and some incredible industry leaders. And if that doesn't impress you then our fabulous goody bags certainly will.

15. As a nominator can I attend the awards dinner?
Yes. Tickets may be purchased by contacting events@wiceawards.com or by calling 01252612025. You may purchase individual tickets, 2 or more tickets or host a table of 10. For full booking details please email reservations@wiceawards.com

16. What about sponsorship?
If you are interested in sponsoring the awards please contact us. We have various options available and we can also create a bespoke package to suit your needs.

17. What is the dress code for the Awards Ceremony?
The official dress code is black tie/formal wear.

18. When and how should payment be made?
Payment must be made as soon as you are notified that your nominee has progress to the finalist stage.
